Respecting the old, loving the young and protecting the disabled are the nice traditional virtues of our Chinese Nation. Each of us should start with small things and start with ourselves. Only in this way can our entire society become more harmonious and beautiful.
On 9th of December, 2021, Ms. Xu Jianping, general manager of YITAI DIE MAKING SUPPLY, together with Kunshan Zhengjiu Public Welfare Service Center hold a "Winter Day Warm Song" in a remote village in the north of Fujian Province. A group of more than 10 YITAI volunteers organized charity activities with Charitable donations for the elderly living alone send warm , and gave a strong love to the disabled and the elderly here.
‘Give a rose to someone and leave a lingering fragrance in your hand’, a piece of clothing gives a piece of warmth, and a piece of love brings a touch. The local village team lead the team to deliver the funded materials to everyone in need.
In this activity, Ms. Xu from YITAI and the volunteers visited 18 elderly people living alone and the disabled with non-stop throughout during the whole process, and chatting with them, knew more about their life and family conditions. They also helped to do the housework what they can. When they left, they also delivered daily necessities such as rice, oil, milk, quilts, pillows, and four-piece suits to every household, and gave them condolences.
The subjects of this visit are all empty-nest elderly and disabled, all of whom lack the most basic living security. The purpose of YITAI and charity volunteers is to let them see that there are many caring people with a sense of social responsibility in this society who care about them, and we all hope to bring them some warmth this winter.
It is the responsibility and obligation of every citizen to care for the empty-nest elderly and the disabled.
